The R/C Garage... [R/C Drivers Lounge]

i am running 2s lipos only expect for the first day i had it.

i'm 98% sure this is the answer. after dicking with it here at work and trying to calibrate the esc, i'm certain that my radio is doing nothing to effect the truck. so i either need to rebind, or my rx reciever crapped out on me.

If need be, I have an extra axial radio for sale.

try calibrating the esc? worked with mine. worked on my brxl to.. best brushed esc i ever had

your better off that way only have a few. i got most of what you see trading.. good way to keep this hobby cheaper.

I wish I had friends to trade with. My only friend who is into rc stuff only has trashed junk. Maybe I should watch CL more, I am wanting another scx10.

i have done a lot with CL. they buy it. its slow. gets bored and it sits on a shelf..

start at the top then. rebind the radio. then calibrate the esc.. should work

Ok so it won't bind. Got it narrowed down to either a bad esc or a bad receiver

tried that too. the car will not bind with the radio at all and is showing zero connectivity to the radio.

so its either the radio/rx unit is crapped out, or my esc is crapped out.

i have a mamba max pro coming in tomoro. if that dont solve it than i know its the radio.

That's how it started for me. It's an addictive hobby that really snowballs.

Thats for sure!!

are the portals 3s racing ones? busted mine. 1.9s pitbulls a scx10 with steel bumpers and sliders. a good HH motor and 3s lipo broke in about 20 min

Yes, 3s racing portals, haven't had any problems with them.

Got my issue figured out. When I wired up my new servo I didn't get the wires sealed good enough. Took it apart and redid it with better heat shrink. All copacetic.
So got it all out back together with a slant back and Ti links. Also traded tsl's out for pit bulls.
