The reality check garage, engine stand goodness ish

Been gone from this thread for awhile, glad you are making progress Eric and I'm going to check back often to see how your doing.

What's going on w/ the shop?

Still working on the financial end of things. Things have not gone according to plan. Some unexpected medical. Some unexpected automotive, some unexpected well when it rains it pours.

Plus our riding mower is kaput.

So like I said still working on the financial end of things. Should be more clear on the when in a month

Garage looks good. I knew there had better be a great reason for not answering my phone call.....

Keep at it, dude. :waytogo:

So HUGE STEP TODAY.

My shed is put all back together!!!!!

Like as complete as it was before we moved it up here from my parents house.

When I built this it was dead square and the floor was dead flat.

Now it's a wavy parallelogram. And the floor is not level but it's done! Well as done as it was before it broke.

And yes still fully insulated. Not sure if the amount of effort was worth it but I had the stuff

We are actually gonna plan what goes in and where and likely build several more shelves to accommodate everything as efficiently as possible.

Floor ended up being 2 layers of OSB. You can see how off each piece is. It's a custom cut floor lol.

With as much as this poor shed has been through I'm amazed it's still together as good as it is.

Well hello gents. Actually got up today.... actually did work.

Takes a while with a bad headache but built some shelves in the shed

I actually should be moving stuff in here this week. A friend is coming up to help finish them out tomorrow.

Kind of sucks when it takes 8 hours to accomplish this little.....but it's also kind of awesome cause I did something

No needed 2 stands at time. Probably but LS motor back on my old sturdy stand since it is gonna be freed up soon.

Dang. I don't think I've ever bought a new engine stand got 2 used ones. One seem kind of weak but the other is nice.

My shed after quite some time is ready for me to move some crap in.

I bought 4 new 2x4s everything else was just stuff I had. My neighbor gave me some 2x4s that were pretty bad but perfect for shelving. I did steal some OSB from the stuff I have for the shop but this moves me along ever so slightly to getting that done.

I cannot tell you how excited I am to have this done.
