imiceman44 submitted a new Build:

The rebirth of Colby's 73 blazer

So as some by now know, it's mine.
At first the plan was to use the engine for my sub and selling the body.
But now that I have it sitting here, the plan is changing.
I am thinking about making it my Wheeler.
I got the brakes hooked up so I don't have another accident...

When Colby brought it to me, we had this little incident while getting it off the trailer :banghead:

So now as it sits where Ryoken`s truck used to.

I hope it does live on :waytogo:, I always liked that truck and it would be really cool to see it evolve into something new with you :D

Keep it, build it , wheel it :woot:

Well, 15 years ago, I had a 73 that got in an accident, then I got a 74 that needed some work so I combined them and did a frame off resto.
It was done in single stage black with black leather interior chrome bumpers, wheels and mirror window tint.
It was awesome and I took it mudding the same day it finished.
Then I thought it was too much money to be risked like that.
Then I came here and a few years later my dad sold itfor $750...
Needless to say I wanted another, but this time it will be pure business . The body has no rust to speak of, but does not look like the pics show it, so I will not worry about body damage.
I will replace the kinked hood with one of my spares.
I will also go with min lift and lots of cutting to fit my 38" swampers.
It will be a slow build since I hadn't worked for 6 months andnow need to catch up.

I like this plan sir

Yeah that one is gone it lives on in many trucks now.
Windshield frame in Texas.
VIN somewhere in south Sacramento.
The engine is getting ready for my suburban.
Trans and tcase in another truck.
The hydraulic clutch went east coast

All good! Did love the look of that blazer when it was all together. The green, the stance, the diesel, the 465 and the swampers... was cool for sure!

Yes it was.
It wasn't easy to make the decision to scrap it but I didn't expect to get the body back minus vin.
I thought it will live on with someone else.
The engine is now sitting in my suburban and hopefully a few days to hook everything up and should have a running suburban after sitting 15 years
