The RedBurb

Every Part Is Replaceable
Thats good to hear, as I get closer to committing to the cause, I’m getting more nervous about interior noise levels, but am glad to hear that it should be just fine. I would think, especially with dumping the exhaust behind the rear tire.
Yeah with the bigger glasspacks and the longr exhaust for the longer chassis I would think you will be just fine. Mine comes out the driver side rear by the bumper and it doesn't seem loud one bit even in drive thrus.

I routed the tailpipes to the driverside, rather than the back, because I’ve always wanted to be able to watch and see when the truck is blowing smoke and never could. Now I can. Simple set of 90s and 45s gets it up nice and high out of harms way.

Still need to weld the pipes together so they don’t rattle, but the exhaust is in for hanger placement, then it will come out for the last time before going back in to its forever home.

For CK5 eyes only. The exhaust is “done”. Hangers are welded in. There are three. One on the H pipe. One behind the mufflers/fore axle, and one by the shackle hanger/aft axle. I also added two “straps” to hold the tail pipes together and keep them from rattling. One at the end, on top and out of sight, and the other opposing the rear-most hanger, also hidden and out of sight. I slapped together a couple frame-side brackets for the H-pipe and axle hangers. All of this goes in tomorrow for the final time. And then it’s time to pound out all the little to-do’s between here and Moab. Should be firing up the truck on Saturday. I’ll bet it blows sky high.

I like everything about the exhaust routing. I've never seen duals pulled down the side like that but it looks good.

Great work.

Thanks man, I appreciate that. In my head, it was a necessity because I didn’t think I had room for exhaust on the passenger side with the traction bar installed. I didn’t care for having to have the exhaust cross under the tcase again either, but, unlike the last version, this crossover pipe is removable which will make servicing the 205 easier. I’m really happy with how it all came out.
