The Story Of A Cummins Suburban (Lots Of Pics)

Did I miss something? I thought we were still waiting for pics from your last trip to Oregon? Crater lake mmmK? ;)

What the man in the stall said to the man waiting, "Give me time....."

Hey, it wasn't until just recently that I realized that photofucket allowed this thread to have pictures again. I actually went through the whole thing again. There were some fun trips in here.

Heading up to Oregon and possibly Washington soon. Anything cool to see up there?? Recommendations??
We just got back from a vacation in Seattle last week. If you guys go far enough north, there is plenty of cool offroad stuff to do in the North Cascades. I do believe there is even an ORV park on the west side of the mountains.

There are a couple but the trails are geared mostly towards jeeps.

How has this sealer foam held up over the last decade on the hood?

I see a few people in this thread are in Arizona. I'm in Gilbert if you guys ever plan drive into the desert.

I’ve gone out a couple times with Nick and his son on trips. Cool dudes, super knowledgeable. But he hasn’t been on here for a while.

Last I saw on IG he went exploring Camp Bouse and the Swansea mine last weekend. I was there in Feb and met up with him a couple days into the trip. They showed us around the desert.

Bouse and Swansea have a lot of history and neat to explore just not in the summer lol.

Swanse has a neat mine shaft you can stand over and scare yourself.

They do. We hit it February and actually had a little rain. Imagining tanks rolling around in the desert in Bouse was wild. If you go into the little town they have actual tanks along the road with signs and plaques describing the units and where they went during the war.

The scale of the mine complex in Swansea is crazy. Stuff all over the place.

Seriously got me thinking "again", about swapping the 8.1 to a 6bt.

I'm assuming you are referring to the foam used between the inner hood braces and the hood skin. That foam has held up fine, although it wasn't too long after applying it that I removed the hood and had the underside Line-X coated, thus encapsulating the foam and preserving it for eternity.

Well that was a disappointing bump!

Well, it was better than the timeless "BUMP"

There's more to see down here too....

Don't say that too loudly around here. The 8.1 mafia will put a hit on you for talk like that!!

Been thinking about Nick and co. lately.
Hope all is well.

All is well. Things are good. Truck still does truck stuff. Has a fuzz over 125k on it since I started driving it in 09 I think. We still like it.

Because you are not parting the Red Sea.

Lol. Might be the first biblical reference in the whole thread!!
