the sway bar is GONE!!!!

40 minutes of wrenching off that 30 some pound waste of steel. that thing has been on there since 79 it actually got caught on the breather hose for the front axle and i got mad as ussual and it hit me on the forhead. i need to go weigh my truck next week.i stripped off everything that does not participate in off roading.but i am gonna put in a stereo

yea, i got crap two years ago about keeping it.i hated that thing.

I pulled mine about a month ago after having the truck for over 10 years!

i yanked the sway bar off the sammy when i was taking the bumper off. been on there since 88. i noticed no difference in handling.

Yep, I just got rid of mine, too. I can notice a very slight difference on the mountain roads, but it's not like I'm driving a road racer. It really hasn't affected my driving style. I'm not going to miss it.

thats what i said.no diff in the way it felt.just dead weight.i went through the clover of getting on and off a freeway and its posted at 25mph.i've been through it at almost 40 and not much body role. did that thing suck to get out or what?kreeeeeeeek,1/2in kreek.1/2in. kreeeeek.SOB come on!!!!!!
