The "under destruction builds" supersize75k5 's driveway of despair and repair

I don't buy that, I wont conform.

the white truck needs a duramax and suncoast allison in it. IE turf the white truck. cause its easier IMO to move the suspension to a different chevy than move a diesel D-train to a gas truck. continue to beat on stuff as usual.

stock or not stock the man is going to wail on his junk. proven with driving the colorado 5 miles on a flat tire tearing the truck all to hell.

Out of all the good examples you went with that one?:D:p:

I hear ya but the dmax will end up just like the white truck and so on.

Seriously Shawn, with the money you throw at toys, do you really need to worry about mileage? Get rid of the Col. save the money from the sale, and insurance, and put it in the new truck -2010 Duramax....700 lb ft. yeh baby.

When you get the 4l80 rebuilt, make sure ALL of the updates are put in. It'll live a lot longer, but then it's you. Maybe not. Also try to find a 4l85 planet set for moucho beefo.

Bahhhh Bahhhhhh...........quick the flock went that way.

do the diesel. you will love it. and it will be sick.

I know of a couple 10 second quarter mile duramaxs in Alberta. you take one of those Corvette killers stick a nasty suspension and solid diffs under it. it'll slay anything you point it at. Period. desert dunes mud mountain.......whatever.

Diesels are sick... no doubt, but I don't know if I can take him destroying another cherry truck.:wink1:

Put a blower on the 6.0 and buy a dmaxx crew and keep it stock. No point in doing all that work just to destroy another body in 2 years.

Better yet scratch the blower and build that focker up. 408 stroker with AFR heads and a hot cam. 500hp easy and you'll save a grand vz the blower route. Plus you don't have any boost wearing your motor out or a blower that you need to maintain.

Listen Shawn, and learn by the example I have set forth for you. Don't bother trying to put the white truck back together. The frame has been repaired 3 times, the trans is shot, the body is all but falling off of it. You'll be time and money ahead just getting another truck and swapping suspension. Finish the buggy and keep that your dedicated wheeler. Take the 6.0 out of the truck and put it in the buggy. Strip the axles, t case, springs, coil overs, and radius arms out of the white truck and store it at my house. Then sell or throw away the rest of the truck. Buy a dmax tow rig like mine. THE TOW RIG IS ONLY FOR TOWING!!! Keep it low too. Don't put 37's on it cuz then you'll be wheeling and breaking that too. A lower truck is more stable and pulls better anyway. Get rid of the colorado and use the dmax as your daily driver, tow rig, and occasional corvette killer. I'm gettin 20 mpg with mine right now on bio diesel with 500 hp and 800 ft lbs of torque. After you have your tow rig situation squared away,if you absolutely have to have another white truck then buy a used work truck. A dmax preferably. If you buy a suitable truck that meets my standards I will let you have your suspension back and we'll build you a truck that will hopefully take longer than 2 years to destroy

I say swap the 6.0 in the buggy, then take the axles and suspension from the 07 and put it under the colorado. Last thing to do is swap the buggys motor into the colorado. Then you can buy a duramax tow rig with a big enough trailer to tow both toys.

You know you want to do it...:haha:

Best idea yet.... but your forgot swapping a dmax in...... a dmax colorado would be off the chart. OMG, now I won't be able to sleep tonight.

I need to get this thing fixed asap..just me a girl with lifted purple dodge cummins who has my attention!

Dude call Coan transmissions:

Coan Engineering | 1602 E. Havens St. Kokomo, IN 46901 | 765.456.3957

Ask for Walker.

well tossed another used trans in it tonight, for 600.00 I got a trans and steering box.

Friday night pulled my trans, saturday pulled the donor trans, and then tonight installed it...also wed night I pulled an all nighter to swap a trans in a 4x4 02 suburban.

I am so sore and sick of transmissions its not funny.

On the bright side I sold a core today to a cool guy who owns a tranny shop. After he watched all my vids and looked at pics he says he wants to work with me to build a bullet proof one and he says I cant brake it.

ha...ha. I think I will take him up on his offer...

I told him he builds me up a bullet proof trans that last my back window can be his personal bill board!:D

Also changed out the motor mounts tonight..not a fun job what so ever:mad:, my motor mounts had zero rubber left and the ac compressor was touching the frame:crazy:

also picked up a new ac control panel since I damaged mine as well as a spare starter.

tomorrow I swap the steering box, buy a pump and its alive again:D

have you at least got a roll bar yet, shawn?

nope,

the plan is to make a some sort of plan with this thing.

I might tone it down, or tone it up, if its the latter of the two then yes a full cage is in question.

i need to starts a parts killed list on the 1st page.. ok, back out side to replace my power steering pump and box:doah:

110 degrees in AZ..no problem
