Made it out tonight to the mtv filming of a show. Had a ruff afternoon getting the truck ready, finish the plate work, new brake pads, work on the trailer converting it to 8 lug, new hub, and decided to mount up my ORI struts rather than the sway a ways. The sway a ways would have required me moving the bumpstops or I would have had big issues.
Well things were great...until I went to charge the ORI's with nitrogen.. my tank was almost out

Ended up saying screw it and took the truck out there anyways and prayed the bumpstops would save my wallet from agony.
Damned good time.
They were filming for a cowboy guy who is with a girl and the show is called something like "i cant believe she is with him" or something like that. Mud absolutely sucked compared to saturday night, they added a bunch or dirt.
Had to make some wide turns as the truck was very low, ended up getting way to much of a head start and hit the wall hard

Broke the steering box... then put the truck back in 4x4 and proceeded to screw off till both the front shafts and hubs took a early retirement by trying to ram the truck up the wall... no idea if the new 44's had anything to do with that..
Ill try to see if anyone got pics, truck still made it through a few more passes with no front wheels spinning and manual steering

Drove its hunk of metal back on the trailer so Im happy

Tomorrow I will get a new filled tank and decide if I want to upgrade to 35 spline or stay with cheap stockers..

What sucks is everytime I am breaking a shaft it is taking out a hub too. Not sure what I want to do yet.
Oh.. and the ori's rock, I only got the truck half ass set up with them but for the few feet the truck came off the ground they felt so soft I was unaware I was leaving the ground till people told me
