.... is the way these forums become completely DEAD for about a week!!!

The silence here just makes me realize how much fun SOME of the guys are having in Moab, and I am sitting on the sidelines waiting for them to throw us a few "scraps"... maybe a photo, or a funny story about what's going on.

About a week from now, the forums will be flooded with new photos and stories of carnage and heroism. But for now.... we wait.

So...since everyone's down and lonely in the quietness...why don't the the guys in the East half of the country get together and have their own blazer bash at the same time? Then you wouldn't notice how dead the site gets, because you'd be out making your own memories...

Until then, I await pictures.

I agree. Ill be at BB next year for sure but id like to see more than just moab going on for the ck5 community.

Id really like to organize something for the west coast. Maybe at the rubicon?

There has to be some good wheeling in oregon too...

What about somewhere in Iowa or Northern Missouri for something more east/central?

That's what I was getting out. I'm close enough to the Michigan guys that I can make it over there. But even that drive is 6 or 7 hours, so it won't happen without planning ahead.

I'm mentally planning to block off weekends for Dune Party and U.P. Overland, but there must be others out there who would put together meet-and-greets. :dunno:

With a little planning, I think we could solve this problem.

Yeah i agree. Its takes some leadership and planning, which makes most people scream and run away but its not hard. I see tons of chevys around that i know arent on ck5...that doesnt help but maybe they'd join if they knew there were events.

When my truck is trail worthy again i would like to make a stab at something for out here. I know theres quite a few norcal/socal members.

Moab is only about 1000 miles from San Jose, CA......

Don't waste your time trying to create a new event, just get in the truck and get to BlazerBash.....

Like ME in 2002!

It is odd how quiet everything here is. I had the opportunity to go this year. My old GMC is fixed again and there was not much stopping me. The biggest thing was funds and timing this year. Not real good excuses because the funds could have been there if I had just tried a little harder. Maybe next year.

LT.

I'm planning on going next year. Hopefully the new rig is done with a few months to spare to ring out the issues.

I'd like to see an event over here somewhere. From what I hear there is some good wheeling in Indiana.

West Coast, East Coast, either way, I'm in the damn middle.

Greg, if you would update your build thread the REST of us would all have something to do and you WILL get replies.
