We can't have a central or eastern Blazer Bash because it's too cost prohibitive to move Moab.
 
I had been planning on making the 21 hour trip this year but with what happened to the dollar and having an employee off on medical leave making me work an extra 12 hours a week had to put the brakes on this year maybe next
 
Yeah its the same every year I dont go. As bad as the dog when he doesnt get a car ride, just sit here and moap.
 
there is a lot of us east coast guys on here with some good rigs . :whistle:

years ago they did do a east coast one .

About three feet from the edge the bottom front of my shoe decided to flip flop on me, I thought for sure I was going over. Damn Utard heat melted the glue holding my sole on.:doah::haha:
 
I plan on Moab next year as well
With Cummins towing power!

A badlands Blazer bash would be cool!
 
I'd like to see something on the east/central area as well but if there were a blazer bash near everyone then there would be an awful lot of them every year.

What I would really like is to make it to Moab for the real deal but I'm a tight wad that doesnt like to travel very far so it's been tough making myself do it. Every year I'm like this is the year Im going to Moab but as the time draws closer I find excuses not to. Maybe next year.
 
ive been there many times, put it on your bucket list. still havent been to a bb yet
 
I think they're a bunch of OHV parks in Tennessee, I think that'd be a pretty good central location for the east coast guys.

I mean most the east coast rigs aren't built for rock crawling or sand, most are loose mud leaves and steep hill climbs with some creek bottoms.
 
I wanna go, now I have to build a new rig just for that or help my buddy and fund it. Maybe that's the way to do it. Pair up when you can't roll solo.

I remember in previous years sitting at home waiting for updates, so since I'm in Moab I try to feed the brotherhood whatever I have :D
 
yeah East Coast rigs are built different then the West Coast rigs no doubt. Why not Blazer Bash Part 1 & Part 2 :dunno:
 
Missouri has quite a few places that could be worthy of such an event for midwest guys. Which would be awesome to have a CK5 event more localish than Moab.

I agree...Tire choice is about the only thing different.

I'm all in for a East Coast gettogether......Maybe like Harlan or someplace like that.....More West and South than Northeast run at Rausch.
 
Harlan would be a great one. Or even Windrock has some great trails. Not being biased as those places are within and hour of me. But BB is on my bucket list just not a 24 hr one way drive.
 
I'll put up a poll with a couple of places and then one with some dates this week or next on an East Coast bash.......We'll see if its worth doing or not.
