The yellow van stopped by yesterday

my mind just started thinking again..I might have a use for these or something really close to it...

we should call curt the new bueller..

More specifically, adjustable 1 ton style forward hangers for rear springs.

warmer? :D
Winner!

To fit my '74 Blazer chassis and a D70HD rear without cutting and relocating the spring perches.

These will be a great way to fix / adjust rear shackle angle when adding longer springs.

Exactly. I wanna do 56's but now 63's are looking tempting.

Is there a way for something like this to be used when swapping in a 14bff so you dont have to move perches too?

That is exactly what it is for, in conjunction with a 1ton Flip'n switch...... as long as the 14ff is 1ton variety.

Wouldn't it be way cheaper to just move the perches?
Yes, it would. But I'm not like you.

When I saw you as the last person to reply, I just knew you were gonna say something like this quote above.

Unfortunately, not all of us like to "butcher" our own personal vehicles or parts. Me, I prefer not to relocate the perches so that if a different project were to come up in my head, I can swap axles, etc., and not have to worry about the perch problems.

My current toy calls for a D70HD in which I'm not relocating the perches. If for some reason my plans change sooner or later, I can always go back to using a 14FF. Doesn't matter if I use a 3/4 ton or 1 ton rear, I can always reuse the stock spring hangers if I want to use a 3/4 ton rear.

Does all that make sense now? It's my money and I can spend it however I damn please.

That is true, It's much safer than if you were to make it yourself

Makes sense now

what size are the bolts your going to be using to hold them to the frame? btw wes, did you get your standard cab 1 ton dually?
Not sure what size the bolts are as I haven't gotten that far yet. I sent these brackets back to Kert and he's using them for his build up project of the short bed truck. He redid some brackets for me of which I still have here at home but they're not quite right so again, he's making another set. I will be sending this current pair back to him and maybe someone else can use them?

Picking up the V30 on Friday. Leaving for the road trip tomorrow afternoon. Will spend the night in Ft. Smith tomorrow night and then to get the truck Friday around noon. After that, we're looking for another vehicle to fill up the rest of the trailer. Hoping to be back home Saturday for sure.

Thanks. We're hoping the traffic won't be too congested as most travellers should be at their destinations and settled in for the weekend. Only hoping to see few to several vehicles on the roads.

There are 8 3/8" bolts per bracket on the set you see there. They were intended for a pickup frame.
