Them spring hangers

I want my axle further back than stock so the 30" half of the spring would hooked up to the spring hanger with the 26" half of the spring hooked up to the shackle.

I know a lot of people have to switch the actual shackle flip brackets themselves to opposite sides to attain a proper shackle angle ( some guys just move them back further on the frame and drill new holes).

I'm trying to kill 2 birds with one stone.
1.) Replacing the factory spring hanger with Kert's
2.) Not flipping the shackle flip brackets to opposite sides or not having to move them back further on the frame due to Kert having multiple adjustment holes on the bracket very similar to the B52 brackets he makes.

Your not going to move the axle back like that. Stock 52's are 26" from shackle to center pin the same as the 56's will be if mounted backwards. All you'd be doing is moving the front spring eye mounting point forward.

Thanks for the info! I guess my axle will be staying in the same spot cause I already have 2 sets of 56" springs!

For some reason I thought it would push the axle rearward 4"???

If the 56's are backwards AND you moved the rear hanger (on a 52" application) it would push the axle back 4". This is how I have mine.

So Kert, do you have these ready to go for a 91 K5? If what I am reading is correct, these are exactly what I need to run 64" springs-correct? With these installed and moving the rear hangers back, where does this setup place the diff? Stock position or a little rearward of stock? Thanks

I don't believe we've done the extended hangers for the later model Kblazers.

I'd have to look it up to be sure.
