well i understand that, but i was thinking that sometimes its hard to find a unmolested truck that old nowadays and sometimes you gotta just take what you can get.

not everyone holds a fully loaded one as a value truck, im eventually gonna restore my 86, but its a cheepo custom deluxe, dosent even have air, but that doesnt mean its still not gonna be worth something one day.

Agreed. When I look for an older truck, comfort options and trim are not generally at the top of my wish list, I tend to look at powertrain and drivetrain, if the truck has those extra creature-comfort options, great. If not, so what.
