I was thinking about installing a fail-safe but then I was wondering if I can just not run a thermostat at all? I dont care about the heater.
Power, and mileage, really? I thought it would just take awhile to warm up?You can run without one, but it's a bad idea. Cuts down on power, mileage.
Ahhh.... Thanx mang, I will just go get like a 165 thermoIt would never warm up based on the ambient temp and how efficient your cooling system is.
Heat=power.

Yes the gauge does read correctly. My motor will reach 210-220 before it opens.....and just before it opens, my motor will have a slight ping. After it opens, my motor sounds perfect.At least it worked that long!
Of course, you know your gauge is right, correct?
