Luckily they were unsuccessful. They were gentle on the door lock and didn’t hurt the door. They also left the expensive stuff behind. I am pretty upset that they got my Craftsman tool set.

I've read that the DIA parking lots are a haven for thieves. It was especially bad during the catalytic converter frenzy a while back. I refuse to drive there now, but that's easy for me because I live by the light rail.

I'm glad that they didn't get away with anything more than some tools.

Yeah I am flying out Vegas in July, gonna rent a car to gt there and turn it in at the air port. I figure cost will be about the same as parking, and that is "IF" parking is available.

I’ve been starting to look at the price of an Uber vs parking. Sucks they broke in man. Glad they didn’t manage to drive away with your truck.

Last fight out Lax to Hawaii, I hired a luxury limo. Was 120 plus tip. Only 40 more than the air port shuttle bus service. We got door to terminal, on our schedule.

Yeah "F" that shit! I just read about some people from Utah moving to Kansas and they got their truck and enclosed trailer full of everything they own stolen at a hotel near the Denver airport. The thieves even ditched their hidden Apple air tags shortly after.

Dude that sucks. The local news showed folks prowling the garage at DIA. Not enough security and when one does come rolling by the look out sees them coming and it’s easy to hide. They can work without interruption most of the time.

I’d suggest getting some stuff from www.JimmiJammer.com. They make a jam plate to prevent somebody from prying up below the door handle to access the lock rod as using a hose clamp around the plastic mount for the lock cylinder to strengthen it. The jam plate goes over the lock and clamp to prevent it from being punched in.

A thief might screw up the door trying to get in but when they are slowed down by it they will move on to the next one hopefully. Part number 031502 for a gmt800 truck.

Could be worse... a guy who was moving from Utah to Kansas had his truck and trailer stolen, full of memorabilia from his deceased daughter. They found the truck with the interior burned up, ruining many of these tokens.

Hell, I was planning on parking my truck there for a week at the end of the month but now this sounds like a total nightmare.

I’m so glad they didn’t mess up the door, I can fix everything pretty easy but having to do bodywork and paint would really suck.
