Please bare with me. I know there are fewer topics that have been discussed here than winches... which is why its difficult to search--too umcuh info to dig through to find what pertains to me...

Anyway... I wanna get a Milie Marker Electric Winch for its low cost and light wieght. Should I go ahead and get the E12000 or would the E9000 suffice for a $150 less? Or maybe you can talk me out of getting the MM electric all together... /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

I think it was Timmay who talked up MM for their price, until he got one and broke it. I've had good luck with Warns. Bottom line is that you usually get what you pay for. It isn't how often you use it, it is whether or not it works when you do.

Buy the E12000 from 4WPW and tell them you're not paying shipping or crating. You can buy two E12000s for the price of an 8274.

I like mine. I'd like a 9.5ti even more but for the extra $300 when I'm poor the MM will suffice.

That was me.

The MM is great on paper, but the design is piss poor in actual operation.

If you do get one, don't put it in a hidden mount.

IMO, get a quality american made winch instead of that chinese trash.
