EDIT: Added a few more questions.
Hey guys,
So since i'm down to a roller frame, and i'm not that impressed with my current lift, skyjacker 4 inch springs all around. I'd like to add a 2 inch shackle flip in the rear, as well as a zero rate. Would this put me up enough to need a new driveshaft? I'll be going to a 14bff and I believe its longer then the 10 bolt, so would that make up the difference in driveshaft? Also, that would lead to needing to to change the front around, I have my stock 52's, how much lift could I gain with them, as well as a zero rate? I also had the saggy butt look, so I figure this would even it out if the 52's would put me up close to the rear. or would it be better just to go with a 6" front lift spring?
2nd question. I'm picking up a suburban for a parts truck, its 3/4 ton 8 bolt. I'm guessing either dana44 or 10 bolt front, i'm guessing it would have a 14bff rear? it has 4.10's, hopefully its a 14bff if not I have one in line.
3rd question. Where the shift linkage bolts to the trans, its been leaking a good bit, I plan on dropping the tranny pan and putting in a new filter, and new fluid. to replace the seal I wasn't sure if I have to drop the pan to get to it, anyone ever changed this seal? just hoping I didn't have to dig into the abyss of the tranny hah..
Pic of the tranny leak
Trans case leak..
Front springs and angle
Rear angle and springs
Thanks for the help guys!
