I suppose this probably belongs in the for sale section, but I'm asking for info too so I'll start here. :)

My dad brought a friend of his over to look at my blazer a couple of days ago and he liked it enough to want to buy something similar himself. He doesn't have the time to build one and he definitely does have the money to just buy a finished project.

He told me he's willing to drop $20-30k, but he wants something that is done enough to drive daily if he wanted. I'm sure paint and creature comforts are more important than offroad capability. It doesn't necessarily have to be a blazer but he likes the idea of something older. Bronco, Cherokee, etc. He's not certain exactly what he's looking for, but says if he likes how it looks, he's in.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them. Either a project you know of, or a good place to look.

I wouldn't single the Blazer out as a "great deal"...but for BJ it's decent. there have been some real steals...

I have mine only the chopping block. In for sale section. PM with any questions if you have any.

that's 1 rare blazer in the link . . . . . old b-j is getting real bad these days .

350hp 5.7 fuel injection and 5 speed auto trans .

Lol,my unrestored original must be worth at least what that barret-Jackson one went for, sheesh!!!!

I think I saw that truck at the Barret Jackson show in Las Vegas. There where a few other square body GM trucks at that show as well. One of the old square body chevy's I saw was a restored mid-1970's 1/2 ton with original 454. I believe the truck was called a Scottie or Gentlemen Jim...somthing like that.
