i recently picked up a ORD flip kit, how can you tell if it's a 4" or 2.5" kit?
I have read that you can swap them side for side and run 56" springs. i am thinking of going this route, and was wondering if the truck would keep it's payload capacity? (it hauls a lot of firewood).
approx. how much lift would you get using the ORD flip kit, and 56" springs? i am trying to keep it low, around 3" of lift.
truck is an 82 k-10 short bed rockin the 10 bolts till they blow!

i was implying the shackle kit looks stronger than the frame.
, that is not only attached to the rest of your suspension, has multiple X members, and is attached to your body with numerous body mounts. It would require a TREMENDOUS amount of force just to imply the slightest twist, other components would fail before your chassis does (leafs, shocks, axle shafts, axle housings, X members etc). As mentioned earlier, compare it to what was originally under there.
