They didn't make the semi float 14 until early 80's...so not sure about that. If it is an 80's axle, I believe a conversion ujoint and check the wheel studs for either 8 or 6 lug pattern.
If it is from the early 80's so long it was not out of a van it would work for your application and just measure the spring perches. To see what year model it is look on the ring and pinion it will have the month (11 for november ) and the last to digits of the year ( 87 for 1987 )
