This is drop dead gorgeous!

See that's funny Tj as a guy that was in a truck club I belonged to years and years ago actually got hung up on one of those big plate steel things that cover up holes in the road. Some worker had left a shackle in the plate and Bill hit that thing doin about 45 in his Toyota. Tore the crap out of every crossmember and what not.

Oh and I really like that truck. Y'all nay sayers do realize they're doin amazing things with airbags these days, right?

Oh and dale, wth is your problem? You always seem to have some smart mouth comment for me? Joining in is all fun and games as beater and I have spiced things up a bit tonight but you always seem to be riding me. Hmmm

i think there is no reason to lower a perfictaly good truck that cannot even make it up my driveway. Leave the lowering to cars that have no perpose other than on road-driveing....i had to use a frends lowered truck one time and i rubed on every speed bump and pot hole in the road. in my truck i speed up for speed bumps and i love it.

:eek1: :eek1: Nice man very stright. I look at what is it built for. If it was build for crawling then its gona have dents. If some one wants to lower it and put some 18's on it and make the body stright and give it a nice coat more power to you. Its all to what your into. I also see that your addicted to craigslist. Glad to see im not the only one. :D

I hate it... Anything i see painted in pastels, I hate.. Seafoam green, turqoise, fuscia, etc... Hate that sh*t with a passion.... I hated it in the 80's when they overdid it, and I still hate it...

As far the lowered aspect, whatever... I'm not into it.. I dig oldschool hotrods with a good stance.... Plus it really hurts the functionality in this case...

Nicely done, just not my cup of tea...

ps.... post them pics vertical next time, this wide sh*t sucks.... :wink1:

there are plenty of chevy forums that appreciate show rigs... haha this sure ain't one of them

I don't know that I agree with that. While I don't like a lowered truck, as I see no purpose in it, that still looks like a well built truck, and I can definitely appreciate the work that went into it. We've had this discussion here before. My '90 K5 is a very nice loaded out truck. Most here would call it a "show" truck. I have no interest in "wheeling" my truck and have no desire whatsoever for cages, 5.13s, lockers, etc. etc. etc. I just love K5's and Chevy trucks. If you like the wheeling stuff great, but there are still quite a few of us here that have very nice streetable K5s. No, they may not climb rocks or mud as well, BUT I don't think someone's "truggy" would be adequate to load my family in, hook up to my camper, and drive 600 miles on vacation. It all has to do with what you like and what you use your truck for.

some of you say you don't like a lowered truck, it is useless now that it is lowered and whatnot,,,well it goes the other way too,,,with a big lifted "show" truck 4x4, what's the point of having that front axle and transfer case, if the truck will never see dirt, alot of extra materials on it that will never get used.

I like a lowered truck, if it's done right, not into really "slamming" them, was when i was younger, when i say lowered, i personally mean lowered in a nice lowered "sporty" stance..
They CAN still be used as a truck.

IF THAT DOSNT DO IT FOR YOU HOW BOUT THIS?

That definitely does it for me. :D

And Avery, if you feel like some people are always riding you, there's probably a reason...

I don't know what the heck is wrong with you guys. There seems to be some of you that can't appreciate something if it doesn't have a dent or some big meats tucked up underneth it. This is an incredible rig and with the bb454 it would tow great. Just because you may use it to work doesn't mean it has to be ugly.
I just spoke with the guy and he is the inventor of the coffin muffler and is stationed not too far from Fresno. Very cool guy.

Alright...ill bite. Dont take this the wrong way man, im not trying to personally bash you in any way. "I dont know what the heck is wrong with you guys" Your posting this on a fullsize chevy forum for 4x4's. This isnt a forum for lowered show trucks. Sure, there are a few people on here who may like this vehicle, but the majority of us dont see the point in it. I can definitely appreciate a vehicle without dents and big meats. If it were me, I would never lift that truck or put bit meats on it, I would leave it all stock. Its a TRUCK, its meant to TOW things. This guy just took away almost all of its towing ability. There are some of us on here that look at it like this.....doing that to a capable tow rig just means one less tow rig that we could buy and actually use the way it was meant to be used. You dont buy a classic corvette and lift it do you? Granted, I lifted instead of lowered my truck. But I didnt take away any of its function when I did that. IMHO I actually made it more functionable. I still was able to daily drive it, it could still tow (even though blazers never were towing monsters), and it still has functioning 4wd. I can now however take it places that were never possible stock.

Bottom line, when you post a truck like that on a forum centered on 4x4's and trucks that tow the 4x4's, the group reaction may not be positive. You have a different taste in trucks as most of us. Thats fine. I completley appreciate the work and detail that went into that truck. That truck however is just not what most of us on this forum are into, which nets you the negative comments.

I hope I have enlightened you somewhat Avery.

I agree I like the truck but wouldnt figure most guys on here would. I like pretty much any cars/trucks well except for ricers! I have driven everything from a 10 sec 5.0 Mustang ,lowrider minitrucks,60's muscle cars ,jeeps ,and even sportbikes.I liked all of em but just seem to go through phases in my life when I need a change and always find something new to play with.
