last sunday I made the first paint trial with the color I will paint the truck. What do ya think, shall I paint everything (also bumpers, grill, wheels, mirrors and hardtop) same color or shall I go with flat black? I tend to do all same color.

Unfortunately I forgot to take my digital camera with me, so I took the pictures with my mobile telephone.

body looks good that fender color. and to make it look mean go flat black on bumpers, grill, wheels, mirrors and hardtop . thats just me tho. keep up the good work.

Yeah I wouldn't paint the bumpers/mirrors/trim that gray color but it will look great on the body. I'd go flat black too on the trim stuff if it's in bad shape. Looks good!

trim stuff is all in great shape, most is brand new. I don't want any chrome on my truck either. I want build a mean truck but didn't want to go with flat black since every 3rd batched up Blazer got flat black. And this is the truck which inspired my idea of paint job...

Well that Suburban does look bad a$$. I guess I was thinking that your paint color would be glossy, in which case all gray would look silly. But now seeing this Suburban in FLAT gray...that looks good. Carry on :waytogo:

Yeah, that suburban is rally an impressive and a mean one. Today I will be in the garage again and go on with some work on my Blazer :D

I like it shiney!! I used to dream of owning a mid 80's shortbed on 35's with that color and blacked out windows.

shiny is nice as long as you don't wheel it too hard. And I do not want to take care about scratches.
