LOL my side hurt what an ashat!

Sean Taylor: Hello, How may I help you?
You: That is a typo on the CUCV right?
Sean Taylor: We have that truck in stock.
You: The price! That can not be what your asking $11,800
Sean Taylor: It includes a trailer as well.
You: LOL the trailers sale for around $800 through the DMRO and the trucks go for around $2880.00 sorry I bothered you.
Sean Taylor: Thanks for contacting us.

OH wow a trailer makes it so much valuable!(sic)

He could do like the guy in the other thread and swap in a set of 3.08 geared axles and really drive up the price!!!

82355, you are quick to comment, but can you show me a better lookin 86 chevy pickup with close to same miles for close to the same price, doubt it, but the best of luck to ya, report back when you think you've got a winner

You took out the only desirable part of a CUCV out of it. The rest of it is glorified scrap iron to me.

You can try and dress it up all you want, but you cut the axles out to use on another rig, and are now trying to cut a fat hog on a $1000 pickup.

sorry guys, I hate to be the spoiler, but we all know that when buying from an auction, you are subject to be lemonized, I am sure you understand, the said truck is being sold as a great, daily used, working pickup, that has been inspected, gone through, and serviced, without the gamble or hassle, yall can penny pinch and critique just like the rest of us conservatives, no problem, but you know the disadvantages as well, please try to learn from experience and wisdom and not show ignorance due to the popular "dana 60/14 bolt crack addiction" because it doesn't fit the need in the real world, but it is not misunderstood in the "I wanna run over a lexus" world

An M1008 without a Dana 60 would be the biggest lemon of them all.

Martin

opinions are like a sack of rusty bolts, there is a small chance that one of em is any good

Better chance than a M1008 with a 10 bolt being any good, I'll take it!

Including yours. You are trying to preach folly to a sight that has explored the finer points of the square body. We do value them because they are plentiful, affordable, and easy to work on. The CUCV 1 tons/M1008s are sought after mainly for the D60/14BFF combo because they have deep gearing and a Detroit locker. You know that because you kept them and are getting rid of the unworthy 10 bolts. I think Martin called it. That truck is only worth about a grand with the 10 bolts. Maybe more if you finish parting it out.

newly registered young grasshopper, this aint my first rodeo, and this aint the first time to sell a 4x4, but thanks for the wasted keystrokes

Bah! I just want the diesel for the EMP protection. My tin foil won't protect the trucks computer.
