I have a question - I got a set of 7100's. replaced the rear rod ends w/ 5/8 bushings. my ? is - when mounting the fronts, with the supplied spacers there is still alot of "side to side" room for the shock to move. what, if anything, do I do @ this? It is like that top and bottom (factory upper mount, D60 lower) Thanks for your help.

Factory upper mount with 7100 bilsteins??? Not trying to be a dick but, seems like a massive waste of shock in that situation. What travel shocks are they?

Make up some spacers. Those shocks aren't intended for factory application use like that really.

Rod ends are one of the features of them as well. Wish my 5150s had rod ends.

They are only 10", but - I have a set of ford towers on stand by - and I couldn't pass up the deal I got on them

they did come w/ spacers. I was just concerned with the spacers not filling all the space. thanks for the help guys

Use some AN or hardened shim washers to get them to make up tight.

FWIW I've found that urethane replacement shock bushings fit & live in 7100 eyelets once the bearing is removed. Has been my experience that the bearings do not live as long as the bushings can (assuming you're not tweaking the snot out of them). And the bushings aren't as noisey as the bearings. That's important on a DD.
