Got my DPI bumpers put on and painted the k5 with a Rustoleum, roll-on paint jop. Not the smoothest but it works. Thanks for looking.

I've only ever seen him (DPI) build steel bumpers. You could just use some of that chrome spray paint...

im sure u could have em dipped in chrome or something...bumpers look great...thats what im leaning to when i get mine from blazenoffroad...ALOT cheaper than powdercoating...did u use rattle can or roll on???

***edit...nevermind the last part...i c wear u said its a roll on job...they make the bedliner stuff n spray can form as well...thats what i used to paint my stock bumpers so far***

Sweet truck looking good whats next?

I would say just take it to a locl chrome shop and have it done but with all the corners and tube joints expect to see some yellowing in those areas my guess about 15 or so to have it done.Chrome also make metal a little more brittle but you are going show so it dont matter just some things to watch out for. Some one is selling one in the for sale section.

Actually the bumpers are rattle-can bedlined. The k5 is the one thats rolled. Sorry, should have specified.

something like this perhaps...16,500lb superwinch...

and 2 30,000lb snatch blocks just in case...

Not sure if that would work, looks like it might though. DPI used a Ramsey Patriot Profile 9500 for mock up.

had to have Jesse w/blazen custom build my mount into the bumper...it calls for a thicker mounting plate and different mounting position...i just wanted something big enough just in case...never know when you might find some hot chicks stuck in their daddy's dually...:D

I was looking through my subscriptions and seen this thread so I thought I'd make it my official pic thead. :D

Thanks. Next is a winch for the front and then wheel the heck out of it.

...and that's what I've been doing. Enjoy.

That was my first time to ever air-down...

Some nice jeep guys with on-board air stopped to help me...

I have a lot more pics to add. Just need to upload them then post them up. More to come. Here's a preview...

:D

Those bumpers look tough and add a nice look to your truck. The stinger is more propotional than some I have seen. Kudos.

Thanks for all the compliments.

The rims in the last pic are recentered H1s.

The bumpers have really served me well since there are a lot of trees where I do most of my wheeling. I've recently done some work to the back bumper, but you'll have to wait for the pics.

I'm only going to give small groups of pics at one time, gotta keep you guys coming back for more. lol :D

Few more from the same wheelin trip after we got the tire back on the bead:

The specs up to this point are pretty much stock everything except for a standard 4 inch lift springs up from with blocks out back, 3/4 tons, and 36s. **edit** Oh yea, and the bumpers and winch. :o
