Thoughts on this Crew

If you are looking for a project that will involve work and some headache -- but might turn out to be something fun -- this truck is it. You could do a flatbed too, that would be cool, or you could do all kinds of custom stuff. Expect some welding, lots of swearing, and lots of measurement.

If you are looking to drop a regular bed on it and go ... well, break out the measuring tape, but be careful.

Way to rain on my parade :doah:

I fixed it..LOL

I'd offer him 1200.00 CASH ( have the money in hand). If it needs a clutch nobody is gonna buy it unless there looking to part it out. and most people won't pay that much for a parts rig.

the whole rebuilt drivetrain sounds fishy, our he was really hard on it to burn up the clutch in 40,000 miles. and its rusty.

You can find a complete, nice, crew cab for an extra 1000.00 to 1500.00

I paid 1800.00 for this 91 V3500 350/4L80e A/C ,Cruise ,tilt with 105,000 miles

Well, it MIGHT have the right wheelbase or be close enough to make it work... but that's another question mark on a truck that seems to have its share. :dunno:

If nothing else you go into knowing more about what it is.
