There are no full-size, three-door American SUVs anymore, so Flat Out Autos made one themselves a Chevrolet K5 Blazer conversion from the Tahoe.

Looks like awesome work and a valiant attempt at merging old and new, and with that in mind is probably the best something like this will ever look, but that doesn’t say much because….gross!

I want to like it because it’s mostly 1st gen but I just can’t.

No. The angle of the windshield throws it all off. If it weren't for that it'd be o.k. Imo of course...

Molding of new and old is hard to pull off. You gotta appreciate the fab work that went into it, but they wasted all those 1st gen parts!!! Do we even need to talk about the wheels?

Yeah somebody had a 4 door version, same colors, but on some oversized rallys.
I know this thing gets a lot of hate, but if I could snap my fingers and have my GMT930 look like that I'd take it. It's nicknamed Gray Hippo for a reason. This strange baby blue thing looks less like a giant mini van, anyway.
Would I pay whatever that costs? No way, which is why my opinion doesn't matter.
Also, round wheel wells are a big win. At what point in styling did we imagine something other than a tire would be down there?
