1987 K-5 with 4" all spring lift, 10 Bolts F & R, running on 35" BFG KO's with Edelbrock TES headers and Y-pipe.
When turning right I feel/hear a thump thump or vibration through my feet. This happens when taking off while turning right and making a right hand turn at speed. I've looked under my rig and don't see anything loose or broken. I do see that the driver side Y-pipe is very close to the front spring lower rear shackle bolt and it appears the two do come in contact since the Y-pipe shows signs of rubbing.
I know it's not my tires, I do have ORD steering braces and new motor mounts.
I am considering having a muffler shop fab up custom Y-pipe to go from headers to single 3" exhaust to get it away from shackles and tucked a bit higher up under rig.
Anyone run into this one or have any ideas?
