"ticking" voltmeter guage issue

when i use a blinker or my 4 ways my voltmeter guage will "tick" (drops when blinker light is on and rises some when it is off) has anyone had this happen before? if so then what is the problem and is it related to a charging issue?

Probably a ground problem. My burb and jimmy both do that.
