image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Found out 2 things wrong with my steering column tonight. First ring is bent and 2nd tilt housing is busted.

I know I can buy new for both but would anyone have a ring laying around to help a guy out?

Here is how far I tore it down to find problems with up and down play.

87 K5 with tilt. Any help would be nice and the 4 bolts where tight!

I have several of the lock plates here, but a housing is a different story. I don't have one that isn't in a column. I have a column that I would sell, but parts would surely be cheaper.

How much for the ring shipped? I can but housing for $92.20 found so far new.

I tore it apart and found problem in 30 mins going back together will be more fun.

Also do you have the back ring with the cable for shifter selector for a 87 in black mine has tooth broken off so does not stay in place.

I don't have a spare one of those rings (collar?) , but I have used an epoxy to fix one with the same problem. It has held for 6 months so far.

The lock plate, would $2 above shipping work? Gotta pay for a soda somehow!
Lol! But you may be able to straighten it faster. ???

Not sure will be able to straight this bent/warp.

Send me your paypal info pmed you my address.

I was told from steeringcoulmnservices.com my Metal shaft has a crack in it but can not see it a all main after pulling in completely apart. I have all main pieces in my civic to take to work and give them a call again cause I still think one piece is problem.

Call me crazy but like to fix what I have vs junkyard cause even that could have problems in a few miles and I know what has been done to my steering column.
