Tilt column swap Q's

I put a new signal stalk on mine. Super cheap to get one new but I remember the install not being as easy expected.

Also want to check for any slop in the tilt. If there is there is a couple bolts you can tighten to solve the issue.

If the bolts are loose that @Shawn is referring to, then I would recommend tearing it down to pull the bolts one at a time to put loctite on them before you retighten them.

If you're going to replace the turn signal arm, now is the easiest time to do it because you have to fish the cruise wire through the column. When you do it, pull the stalk and cut the wire there then use the old wire to pull the new wire through the column passage.

I'm not planning on having cruise..? This will be a fun truck not a DD. If I go to a camper I might go diesel.

Ok, just disregard then. I wasn't sure if you had it and I saw it on the "new" column. With and without cruise turn signal arms interchange so no worries.
