After 6 months of working on this thing instead of sleeping it's done. At least this stage of the build. I was even able to get done in time to go to Moab for Thanksgiving. The three rows of seats sure is nice for the kids, they all have a good spot to sit. Lost a little bit of storage in the back, but still have enough room for a cooler, tool bag and spare parts.

It was a mad thrash to get it all done for Thanksgiving. The cage didn't go out to powder until 11-13, I still had to fix the bedsides, finish the bodywork on the new windshield frame, paint and get the tub lined.
The cage didn't come back from the powder coater until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Needless to say we didn't get to leave on Thursday like I had planned. Leaving Friday morning was just fine though since it ended up snowing in Moab Thursday night/Friday morning.

That is awesome!
I really like how you've integrated the dash components into the cage. Post some pics when you get all of the dash pieces in. Nice work!

Please post about 30 more pics...... :deal:

Oh yeah, we definitely need more of this one.

Most excellent cage design!

Here are some more pics of the interior and the dash. I don't have any more overhead pictures, will get some when the sun comes back out. That top is a miserable piglet when it's cold.

Killer job on the dash. Looks damn near original. Really, really nice work.

:bow:COOL!:D
I'm diggin the CB mounted in there  do you have an external speaker for your CB? Or you just crank up the volume to hear thru the dash?
AWESOME

Center dash plate is a piece of .090 aluminum that is easily removed with 4 bolts. I do have an external speaker for the CB I just haven't mounted it yet. The three knobs are J**p style heater control cables, don't worry the J**p knobs will get replaced with original wiper knobs like the top one as soon as I can figure out where I put them.

Pictures showing how cage is tied to the frame and nerf bars. There is also a piece of 2" square tube running above the nerf bars in the rockers. The 2" square is drilled and tapped for the nerf bars, the pieces that go to the frame and the fenders to bolt to.
As you can see I still have a lot of clean up and detail work to do underneath.:o:doah:

Rear brace that also bolts to 2" square tube and nerf bar. I will add one more tube to tie into rollcage in the near future. My Thanksgiving deadline forced me to skimp on a few details that I will have to tidy up.
