My interior is needing a cleaning. Carpet, seats headliner etc. For those of you who still have an interior that takes a little more than a good hose out to clean, what do you use, what have you found works best to get out minor stains and dirt?

"Blue Koral upholstery cleaner with odor eliminator." I use it on everything! even in the house! :waytogo:

I use a little 27 horsepower steam carpet cleaning machine with a 4" nozzle. It's a nice portable machine. You just have to start up the F-350 flatbed that it is attached to and drive it to where you need it. I usually run 20+ inches of vacuum on a 2" hose but the wand was getting stuck on the carpet and it was quite hard to break it loose. 10" of vacuum worked better. The biggest problem was keeping the water hot, because I was using such a small amount and didn't have any high pressure hoses that were shorter than about 100'. For soap, I just used the commercial steam cleaning solution that we use on commercial buildings. I mixed it up in a spray bottle and applied it that way. The machine has soap neutralizer injected into it to disable whatever soap remains in the fabric. I think the undercarriage of my truck might even gotten a bit cleaner after doing the carpet on the floor. You asked. :D

I was going to use the small electric carpet cleaner (size of a large shop vac) that we had in our shop, but my boss had just sold that one to a friend since we didn't really use it much.
