Tips for Window Run Channel Installation?

Replacing the run channel seals on a 91 Jimmy with PRP seals. Anybody have suggestions on how to get the rubber seal on the outside of the felt to flare out and form to the door? When trying to seat the felt, It keeps folding in on itself, tucking into the door.

Was it folded in tight when you got it?
If so you need to warm it up to relax it, off the door then you stick something in the Grove to keep it open for a while then cool it down, it should hold the shape while you install it then close the window and leave it closed for a few days so it settles in
