Tire Balancing Product?

I used 3 golf balls and 1 lb of Air soft in each of my front 36x14.50 Super Swampers. They were good to 95 mph. I'll never go that fast again in that truck though. Scary. In my rear I used 5 golf balls each. They were also good to 95 mph. Occasionally I'd have a terrible bounce between 15 and 25 mph, but only when the tires were cold. I think the pellets would get in a comfortable position and not want to move. After a couple of bounces or more speed they would spread out and be good to go for the rest of the day.

Note* I've also heard of dynobeads clumping up, but never met anyone that has actually run them. Air soft and/or golf balls seem to be the way to go.

Can't see how Dynabeads would clump up except if the tire place used something sticky to seat the bead. Ours never have and I've had them in 5 sets of tires so far.

I also ordered their "recommended" amount of balance material except it didn't do anything to help my swampers  I need to call them and see if they want to send me some more to see if it'll make any difference. I know bias 39's and beadlocks are not the ideal street setup but lots of people drive successfully on the street with this same combo

No, they just deal with the vibes thinking it's supposed to be that way. :D

There's a number of things that it could be. Are you missing any treads? That'll throw you off a good bit. Then, being bead locks, you have all of those bolts chilling way out there, none of them the same weight... I think it would take a good bit of balancing power just to compensate for the bolts.

Yeah, did you throw in extra beads or just the amount they recommended for a tire of your size? If the latter than there's no way they can accurately guestimate the amount you'd need with your heavy and probably unevenly distributed weight wise beadlocks.

I have 14 oz of airsoft in my severly chuncked 37s and I have no issues at all. There is a post I had on here with all of the math for determining the amount of airsoft pellets to buy based on the amount of weight you wanted.

Well, I just got back from a test drive and I am now a believer. I ran it up to 75 and it was smooth the entire time. I said screw it, dumped in all 8 oz per tire and left the weights on the rims. Heck, I didn't even remove the wheels from the truck. I just used a jack to take the weight off the truck and pulled the valve cores.
