tire debate

I just purchased 35 x 12.5 x 15 Falken WidePeak A3W tires and believe them to be a great bargain

I don't know if they make them in your size but I love my falken at tires. Good traction in all conditions and seemed to wear pretty good.

I have had nothing but great experiences with my coopers. Can't say enough good things about them.

For what its worth I ran the Cooper ST Maxxx on my duramax. I was pretty pleased with them. Mixture of DD, towing, and plowing. They lasted me about 35k miles, which for around here is pretty solid for a set of tires.

Since then I'm running the AT3's and they have been impressive as well.

If she wants them that bad just let her drive sometimes...

Funny with 4 inch lift she hates it but kids love it! 35's I can fit no problem 37's might run in to some sheet metal issues and needs to break out a sawzaw on it and right now this is driven on street mostly.

Specs from nitto's website on ridge grappler says 35x12.5x17 = 34.76 and 37's would be 36.77 hard debate there which to get if I do with them.

Just get the bigger ones...

A little sawsall never hurt anyone.

Ok, a sawsall has probably hurt someone at some point, but just cut it out.
:hack:

ill throw a loop in there as I didn't see them on your list.. albeit a bit expensive... but when I had my sierra z92.. it came with Mickey Thompson ATZ's... AT tire with some nice tread. traded truck in with 68k miles and they still had a good chunk of life left. ran great in all weather... When I get the wifes jeep lifted, I'm looking at putting these on as they wore great on street and were fairly aggressive for an AT.

I'm running a set of these on my 98 K3500 Crewcab and I love them. I've had them in everything but snow so far and they work good....

I can vouch for them in the snow. The STT Pro works better, it self cleans a little more, but it is a very aggressive off road tire.

Yeah, the only reason I haven't had mine in the snow is because I bought them in June... I plan to run the 37in STT Pro on my wheeling rig though

I am running them as well as two of my buddies, we will never run anything different.

I agree with Cooper's, I have the ATP's on my F250 crew cab and they have been awesome. The ATP's would still look pretty aggressive at that large of a size and Cooper is one of the few that offer a warranty on all terrain tires, I think its like 55k miles.

In the past 10 years on several vehicles I've had;

Goodyear duratracs. Decent tire, wear fairly quick and get louder as they wear, work great on everything but ice.

BFG AT, the original and in many ways still great, keep them rotated and find the optimal pressure and you'll love them.

BFG AT (new design) an even better tire, 15k and they still look new.

Nitto Grappler, wear really slow on anything 1/2 ton, kinda shitty in mud, great in everything else. Somewhat overpriced.

Bridgestone Dualer AT, good tire, little loud for a AT, really sticky on road and light rocks. Overpriced in my opinion.

Out of all of them, the BFG is my favorite. It does everything well and if maintained wear like a semi tire. I'm on my 6th set in my lifetime.
