ok so i think i know what the problem is here but i'm open to suggestion. i have a set of Dick Cepeks 35-14.50X15 on a set of 10" wide wheels. problem is they are running funny. like the middle sits up a god ways higher than the inside and outside. hard to explain, sorry.
i'm running 10 lbs of air in each cause if i run anymore it'll bounce you off the road. somethings just not right with these tires. doesn't help that they're 17 years old. i think the problem is that they are mounted on 10 inch wide wheels. would 12's or 14's help this?
here's some pics of the tires

me thinks your tires no good....just a thought about that last picture--looks like someone ran them way under inflated at some point to cause outer edge wear...burn them up on the street or rocks or throw them away..not safe...maybe you also have shifted belts

seperation....?

It sounds like your tires are seperating. Are there parts of the tread that is buldgin up higher than the rest? If so its seperation. this happens when cheap tires have the radial seperate from the actual tread on the tire.

Also if you run them at a pressure any lower than thirty and drive it on the road allot you are liable to cause run flat on the sidewall of the tire. Bottom line here I think you got bad tires.:eek1:

that sucks cause they still had the casting marks on the tires when i bought them. hadn't been driven on the road at all. they came with a truck i bought so it's not a big deal really. just kinda sucks. they are 17 or so years old so i kinda expected the worst when i found out
