Tire options nowadays??

Dtc will lose money initially to gain a life customer.

I had to make a couple trips back and forth with my Flex to get the old wheels/tires and new tires there and then back home. I was impressed with the store in general. Those dudes were hustling and turning out customers with the quickness. That alone was enough for me to consider them for future purchases.

Looking on ebay, they all seem to roughly be the same price... $1,300 +/- $150 shipped... Toyo's, Cooper's, Nitto's, Falken's...

@83ChevyK5Blazer since we run the same stuff, if you had to get another set of tires, would you get another set of Toyo's, or something else? If you were still in your blazer. If that would make a difference in your tire choice.

I'm planning on sticking with toyo's. With how much street use my truck sees they make sense for me and i know they won't be used up in 20k miles like some mud terrains.

If these are everyday prices I have some time before I need to order. Blazer hasn’t moved under its own power in 3 years, but it’s close right now.

I just bought a set of Toyo / MT radials for my truck (385/70/R16). I have not installed them yet because I still have a few miles left on my Super Swampers. I only have about 13,000 mostly street miles on my Super Swampers, and they are already down to 6/32 of tread left before they hit the wear bars. It seems like Nitto and Toyo tires are really popular now because of how good they wear and handle on both the street and off road. Also, they have seem to have a larger choice of tire sizes as well.

I have the 385’s on my brown suburban. I really like them

How wide are the rims on your Burb? My rims are 10" wide, and I have about 9" of lift on my Crew Cab so those tires should clear without any problem at all. The official measurement of the Toyo 385 / 70 / R16 tire is 37.75 inches tall (According to 4-Wheel Parts web site).

Do they actually measure out to their advertised size when mounted? If I go with a 17 (Which looks like I am) they'll be going on some H2 wheels. Right now I'm leaning towards the Toyo's.

The 385’s are on 16x10 weld typhoons

The tires on the burb in that pick are 38x13.50-18 Toyo MT’s on 18x9 pro comps they are within a 1/2” of each other on the same truck .

I just bought my first set of Toyos so no drive time yet... 37x1350x17 and mounted them on 17x9 wheels. They are true to size, 37" tall @ 30psi off the truck.

The truck has a 4" suspension lift and 1" ORD body lift (and i may end up taking that out)
