Tire suggestions

What's the BS and width on your wheels. That makes a big difference on rubbing too

I have run 33x12.50x15s on the stock Rally wheels for years on a stock K10, no lift, with no rubbing besides a little on the draglink at full right lock.
Well they fit with the 81-91 fenders that it came with but not the 73-80 fenders when I changed the front end up. What fenders are on yours?

This was on my 84 K10. For the life of me I thought all the fender openings were the same size regardless of the year.

You know, bfg also makes a 33x10.5r15 (edit as of 16FEB21, Discount tire shows the at and mt BFGs in that size but also the General Grabber X3 and Toyo Open Country M/T) . Been running them for decades now. Third set I suppose. Diameter and offset are not the only factors in rubbing, even with factory suspension. They also make a 33x9.5, but I didn't need to go that thin.

Truck doesn't get driven much, so far at 7-8 years the tires are junk (leak through cracks) but to be fair I also run them at 20psi or less, for a couple weeks, and they pretty much live with CO2 in them, which may not help. (BFG told me not to. I know better than them. Lol)

In any case, aired down they do very well at improving ride, and I've had no complaints thus far on my KO2s, second year running them.

Just towed on a trailer, above buggy, out of Hammer town in Johnson Valley. To the west of Boone Rd for 2ish mile over the side by side silty woops in 2 wheel drive. 285 75 r16 Nitto Terra Grappler on 6.5 wheel. Didn't get stuck. So a vote for Nitro.
Nice and quite good in rain. No clue on snow.
