Tires for a plow truck

From my time in Northern Michigan I learned you wanted deep, wide spaced lugs for traction in the deep stuff and sipes for traction on ice and packed snow. I ran siped mud terrains year round without issue.

That said...if you can run chains do that. You could have drag slicks with chains and get around fine. The chains do most of the work in that case.
Chains and studs are illegal in Michigan so it was much more of a tire issue.

Also, go narrow. Almost say try to find some 16” rims and run a narrow 16” tire.
 
Just bought a set of used 33x10.5r15 BFG ATs. I think these will serve me well for next few years. Plus the chains that I already have will fit them since they are narrow.

Now I just gotta swap them on to the rally wheels and ditch the Jeep wheels.
