I'm not a fan of these tires or their look any longer, They are 37x12.5x17 A/T on 17x9 wheel. I want mud terrain, I prefer that look. Also in hindsight I should have got the black wheels instead of chrome.

I want to go to a 35x12.5x17. I don't do much crawling or any of that. I drive mostly street for the time being.

The tires sitting now, measure about 35-36' mounted along the trucks weight.

How much more wheel well will be shone on 35's? The fenders are already chopped to shizz by a previous owner.
Will going down to 35's mess with pinion angle or any of that or mess with the suspension as it sits now?

Suggestions for that size at discount tire or elsewhere would be appreciated

These for whatever reason have dropped to $283 a tire, much lower than all the other 35's

Dropping a tire size or two won't mess the pinion angle or any of the suspension geometry for that matter.

I have 35x12.50/16 Cooper STT pros, I’m happy with them, the evolution is very similar….I’ve seen a lot of trucks with mud claws and they are always cupped to hell, but that could be lack of rotations by the owners. I like the chrome but agree on mud tires looking better…..do you think black wheels is too much black?

I did initially think it was too much black, which is why I opted for the chrome. Sometimes I think they're too shiny. Ha!

But the wheels can stay for now. The price discount has for the Evolution Coopers is very good and lower than the mud track or others in that size.

What size lift are you running?

4”
Rear is hard to judge because of the bed but the front should give you an idea, my front fenders are trimmed on the rear edges and the “fang” is removed

I want to pull the trigger on these Coopers. I wonder if there is a market for barely used 37's?

How much more "daylight" will there be in the wheel well, roughly, 2"?

I really don't like the look of these pro comp AT... but these coopers $1500 mounted, balanced, plus warranty is hard to beat. Every other tire pushes too close to $2000

I find this 4" lift on 35's. I would be in this ballpark looks wise?

Mine presently, while not bad on 37's I just don't need them that size. If the tread were more pleasing I'd leave it. But I can't swing $$$ wise new 37 MT. 35's will suffice and looks good to my eye and the wallet?
Yes..?,, hahaha please say yes.hahahahja

If it was me I would ditch those 17s for 15s and get a nice load range C tire for a better ride.
There's really no point in having a load range D or E tire on these trucks unless you're pulling a huge trailer.
Plus more sidewall for the win.

Yup, I though of that as well.
Going down to 15" wheel on 35's...

But Im keeping these wheels. I can't afford to replace them.

Is it a Dana 60 front? You’ll have to grind calipers to fit 15s. 15s will clear 14 bolt drums but the only 15s I found that come in 8x6.5 are Bart super truckers….need 3.5” backspace to clear on a Dana 60 even with grinding.

I think 8” wide is about perfect for a 12.50…..that said I’m running 7” (redneck beadlocks)

I forget 10 bolt front and rear is? 3/4 ton 8lugs. I'm keeping these 17's though I can't swing another $600 for wheels

Cooper 35x12.5x17 should look good enough? If the 35's look odd on 17" wheels then I'll have to wait on replacing the wheel/tire combo

I’m pretty sure the backing plates need some grinding on 10 bolt 8 lugs, but I’m thinking there were two different size backing plates…16s are in the middle but it’s getting harder to find 16” tires than 17 and 18

I ran my eight lug 15-in Bart's on my 10 bolt and had to grind the calipers very slightly with the 3.75 backspacing. Also that's a Dana 44 front. It's stamped right on the housing there. And the external Mount hubs are a double check.

Yeah, I should have remembered and seen to my embarrassment, my eyes are crossing from looking at a million threads on tires, sizes etc etc. Plus doing all this on my tiny phone isn't helping.. hahahaha

35's on 17's look good from what I've seen. This thread is insanely deep to go digging any further than I have already looking at tire size/lift combos.

I like that look but see what you mean. I figure with my 4" lift some of that wheel well will get filled with 35's 17 wheels and look like that blue blazer I posted up a ways....I hope.

I wish an app existed to do all this shit on. Load the vehicle, lift and tire size to get an idea of the look.

You can buy my 37's and fill it up.. hahahahahahaha

My original plan was 37s but I went down that rabbit hole on my Jeep before and it snowballs quick after 35s….I’m saving up for crossover on the truck so I compromised with 35s…..big enough to be dangerous but small enough to steer and stop.

That looks really slick. I do prefer a bit more wheel in the profile for my taste. But damn, I wouldn't complain with your set-up.

In an effort to keep my present costs down, and this how I got hosed with these tires I don't like on the truck now was price point. I should have done 35 MT like my gut said at the time, but since the truck came with 37's when I bought it I just went that route.

So to correct that rash decision (I'm hoping) these 35 coopers will look right. I do far more street driving than any off-road and with that in mind 37's aren't really necessary. If these 37's were already MT I'd just keep them. But they look like cheesy SUV tires..

I'm keeping the 37's for now just incase the 35's look tiny in the wheels well. I hope they don't....
