TnA Ultra-Duty Gas Tank Skid for K5's!

Has anyone tried this on a 31 gallon blazer tank?

Do you have any ready to ship out?

Would a non welded version save some $?

Darren and I spoke about it, shared some measurements and it will fit up to a 32gal suburban tank.

Would one of these fit a 40 gallon tank in a Sub? I see the post above where it say 32 gallon, but curious if I could order a bigger one?

I have no idea what dimensions are different on a 40-gallon tank. PM me (or email me: [email protected]) some pics of your tank and some measurements, and we can compare dimensions. If it is simply a taller tank, you could either space down my skidplate, or I could make you a slightly taller one for an additional charge.

I actually don't have a 40 Gallon. I want to buy one and replace my current tank, but I haven't been able to figure out exactly how to get a skidplate to fit. See this thread:

I checked out the dimensions in your thread (very informative, thanks!) and I can definitely say now that my skid won't fit the 40 gallon as designed. The added length is the big problem, not just the added depth.

PM me if you do decide to wedge that monster tank in there - I may have some ideas for a slightly modified skid for you.

are these still available?

Yes they are! I do not keep any pre-made on the shelf, but I can certainly make one and ship it out. Currently, lead time to fabricate has been running about a week and a half for smaller orders.

Has any one ever used one of these after swapping a k5 tank into a truck frame? Debating putting a tank out back vs a cell in the bed.

Not sure if anyone has done this successfully or not. Please chime in on this thread if you have!
