Camo looks cool on some trucks, and I think it'd look good on yours.

I guess I'm leaning toward the camo. Flat green, looks like something is missing. I built the roof rack. I used 7/8" OD tubing. I had a source for tubes that were bent to 90* so all I had to do was put it together.
Not sure what the end pattern would really look like except it would be something like that.

I say camo it, but do the grille/wheels and stuff flat black.

I agree w/ Tim, all my recovery rigs in the service were camo, but I painted the grills, rims, mirrors flat black and they looked a lot better.

I always thought it would be cool to camo from the body line down and leave the top OD... kinda like 2-tone camo
I'm not sure about the grill though, but i can appreciate the effort it must have taken to build it, it does look good!

For my part I would camo the whole thing even the grill cept the wheels. I'd do them in flat black. That scheme looks pretty damn cool! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif Good luck to y'all.

I think the Camo adds something to it. What about doing FLAMES in the other colors? Or if you kept it green, you could stencil some numbers on it to look Military Issue. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I have a 1986 M1009 Military Blazer that is camo OD green, Brown, Tan and Black. If you want to check it out sometime, PM me back.
I'll have to draw up some flames on there and see what that looks like. Never even thought about it.
