Tom woods CV Front shaft

Question,

I broke the center in the CV. The Cup that is around the ball cracked and now it is very noisy from it it rattling around. Think its ok to wheel with for a day or two? I have a spare shaft, but i broke the center in that one too.

If you know something is broke and decide to use it anyways be prepared to suffer any consequences. Me personally, i would not use it. Since you have a spare shaft with the same problem it seems that you need to find out why this keeps happening and address the problem at hand.

bleh its a 400$ shaft with no time to replace it. The onlything it could do is blow the CV up. I dunno im debating about it still.

I can't tell you whether you should or shouldn't wheel this shaft, that's your choice based on potential damage vs. a day or two of wheeling.

I wouldn't be surprised if the shaft exploded but you do have a spare
