I know several of the answers but I’ll hold off to let others take a guess.

Trivia about trivia, the truck pictured disappeared for years but about 2 years ago a guy on FB purchased it and has been posting a bunch of pics. It must have been stored somewhere because it hasn’t changed a bit and it still show quality.
I remember they had a real hard time keeping a rear end in that thing - they finally installed a huge EATON or DANA 135 type of axle and problem solved I guess ?

And if I recall correctly it used SPICER hubs up front !?!?

Yeah, spicer hubs on the front D60. I appreciated the novelty of it but I never like the rear end upgrade. When it broke the original rear axle they went straight to a 5 ton, seemed like a ridiculous jump when they could have gone to a 70 or 80 with high end shafts.

Agreed !
They spent a ton of time, effort and money on cool rear Dana 60 parts and never went with any/all the options between a 9.75” ring gear and a 15” diameter one.
Seems like unnecessary overkill when there were really good options left on the table…

Forgive me if these posts go astray a little too much but I’m somewhat on the injured list and am sidelined and can’t play in the ole garage or get out as much as I’d like and I’m bored !
So after being all med’d up I thought since this thread is so damn good we could stretch the “in the wild” to include: T.V., movies. Magazines , etc. but add a little group trivia info to each photo just to entertain all us old folks….Searching the internet is cheating.
If ya don’t like it just enjoy the cool pics….

This first one had better be known or your CK5 membership might be at risk and your “I lived through the 80’s card” may be revoked!
What show and what was the characters name who drove it and the name of the smok’n HOT blonde that was one of his sidekicks?

Fall guy, Lee Majors

What nation wide magazine covered group event gathering were these trucks involved in ?

Who drove the yellow truck and what was/is his profession and who owns/built/drives the other trucks ?

Bonus points for knowing what type of motor is in each truck ?

I believe it was fourwheeler magazine.
And I don't remember the details but the 3 trucks are ORD.
Don't remember who the yellow truck was

My memory is getting bad and pictures are very fuzzy but is it Dukes of Hazard?
Negative Ghost Rider…. although they do have that Dukes of Hazzard feel to it.
BTW, the Dukes of Hazzard is the answer in another pic post….

You and @joshuak got the “USA 1” truck name but we still need the original owner/driver of BIGFOOT ???
Hint - it started out in the 70’s with a 74 F-250 modified truck.

Bob Chandler for Bigfoot
Everett Jasmer for USA 1

more trivia both trucks were used in the movie "Take This Job and Shove It" without the logos

Yep !

On the other truck - it was tied in with the magazine very, very heavily….
