Took 44 hours to go 1500 miles, but at least I survived (with pics)

Hey, yeah, I do remember. I saw one cop on an overpass and slowed down a bit and stayed behind that semi for a while, and thats when you went by. How fast were we going do you think? Me speedometer doesnt work anymore.

You were probably wondering as you passed how my trailer stays together. Did we look overloaded?

Oh, and sorry Rene, the NV4500 is for my Crew cab. I guess I need to specify that statement by saying the one I was towing with.

HEH yep you sure have made me miss the open road!! oh the memories of driving an 18 wheeler. I cant wait to be able to afford to drive long distance to pick up truck parts  That'd be a dream trip:waytogo:

4 Door club... wait thats not fair... this guy has 5 crewcabs and I have 0.
Well I positive side is that I'm not the only one obessed with crewcabs, only difference I dont have one

Glad to hear that you made it back alright. I got to the house about a half hour after you left. O well hope to meet you next time you run through town.

So close, yet so far. Well, you know you're running late when you get to a person's house just before they get home, when you originally thought you'd be there before they'd leave and they have been gone like 6 hours. Course all the fuel stops took up time, and I wasn't expecting to get pulled over and have to "properly" re-do the trailer lights.

And thanks for helping make me the deal on the tires. I was able to have enough money left over to get all the way home. :D Let me know what I gotta do to make it up to ya.

Glad to see you made it OK. Sure woulda hated for you guys to have fallen asleep on the way home. Thanks again. Now that's a road trip.

The last leg of the trip (Tri-Cities to Spokane, Wa) I was fighting sleep. I had a friend go with to be a secondary driver, but I ended up driving the whole way, mainly cause we were so loaded and I know all the "quirks" to my truck and how it handles.

Even though it was light out and like 8 am, I felt myself nod off for a second a few times and catch myself. But the desire to get home and sleep in my own bed kept me going and alert enough to get home. Then I got home, went inside, and started thinking about all my new "toys" (parts) I had brought home, so I ended up going outside and "playing" (unloading and putting doors on) for another few hours before I actually slept.
