Torque converter info

The "C" is the rare version with lockup converter.

EDIT: what, we're all posting at the same time?

Yeah, never seen a lockup 350
I’ve seen a switch pitch 400 though
And the one Camaro has a vacuum controller for the corvette lockup on a 700r4

The only 200r4 I was familiar with I believe was converted away from the lockup. But it also had roller bearings in it and a manual valve body

The -c version will have an electrical connector like 700r4 and a oring on the input shaft.

I have one in my '74 Blazer, pulled it out of an '80 Jimmy. I never did get around to wiring it up though.

"As a rule of thumb, the Summit Racing tech department begins with the starting rpm of the camshaft powerband and adds 500 rpm to create a starting point for choosing optimal stall speed. But it’s just that — a starting point."

At this point I've decided to leave it alone and just focus on getting the engine swapped. I'll mess with trans stuff later.

my moms mustang i rolled with stock . but now its running i need a little as it wants to power threw the brakes at a stop . if you pop out of gear its fine but i need it to drive as close to stock as it can with 300hp :burnout: over the stock 1973 spec of 141hp :doah:
