Torque converter won't stay in lockup

After I did extensive reading on 700R4's on google searches,I saw one site that reccomends modifying the tranny (valve body?) so as to eliminate the need for electrical hook ups to keep the torque converter locked up..I'll have to go back and see if I can find which site that was..glad you found the trouble and hope it didn;'t cause any permanent harm to it..

They make a kit to keep it from lockig like 4x4high said. I got it for my 87 when i still had it. Didn't realize they changed the convertor too though. With 3:08's and 33's i didn't need it anyhow
