looking for a tow bar to flat tow with
anyone got anything like that

The towbar I used to haul your K5 down to you was a 5000# rated Reese tow bar I picked up for about $110-120 at a local Big R (farm/ranch store). It attached thru the bumper with 2 bolts to the bumper brackets and 2 quick release pins.

i remember that one and that is what i am looking for. as luck would have it, the wal-mart here had a reese on clearance for a long time, now that i have decided i want it, it is gone

I'll trade you my towbar for your M1008 actually I think you can probably find them on ebay...

Looks like mine but pic is not great

Another similar one, but with safety chains, just can't tell if it bolts to the bumper the same

Here is one in Texas, brand new and cheap, only uses 2 bolts into bumper instead of 1
