Those were factory in some Toyotas? Huh, who woulda thunk it. That's kinda cool.

Yeah they were part of the SR5 package thay Toy put on the runner's.Only runners had em and they cost extra,so not many had em.I would lik to put one in my Blazer if they didnt have Toyota written on em.

I always wanted to get one and change the face plate to aluminum or Lexan and then add a couple of aftermarket gauges.

So true... so true...

Btw, HAPPY BIRTHDAY old man! :thumb:

Thanks.I still think you have a few years on me though. In 87 my parents bought a brand new 4-Runner that had one of these in it,and I always wondered if you turned it over would the truck on the meter turnover as well.

I actually done my first wheeling in that Four Runner. They just didnt know it.:D

And they look damn good on in a gm. I don't think it will roll all the way over.
Mine doesn't say toyota though.

I had one in my '87 SR5 when it was new. Soon took it out for a center channel.

They only work when stopped, and no, they don't flip completely over! I found the altimeter more informative than the tilt/incline.
